Lead Infrastructure & Security
Our client is a well known professional corporate services firm operating it’s European operations from Luxembourg.
We are now looking for a Lead InfraSec specialist to join the Luxembourg office to manage the workplace, infrastructure and security technologies strategy.
The role:
- Lead the Infrastructure and End-User Experience Team, serving as a pivotal figure in
shaping strategy for modern workplace, infrastructure, and security technologies,
including Cloud and SaaS solutions. - Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to projects and providing L2/L3/VIP
support activities. - Drive the adoption, implementation, and maintenance of innovative technologies to
ensure a best-in-class user experience, whether in-office or remote. - Participate in architectural design, maximising the use of cloud platform capabilities
(IaaS, PaaS, etc.), and bring these solutions to life with a DevSecOps approach,
emphasising operations and security. - Optimise infrastructure and hosted service costs, ensuring efficient and effective
resource utilisation. - Collaborate closely with the development team throughout the project lifecycle,
providing technical guidance and support. - Develop and maintain corporate standards that define Azure and O365 governance
and office technology, ensuring consistent and successful project rollouts. - Contribute to the development of the Information Security Management System
(ISMS), implement security controls, and help shape security policies. - Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring that partnerships support the
organisations technical and strategic goals.
Technical skills:
- Strong understanding of office technologies, including networking, Wi-Fi, AV/VC, IoT,
and secure printing solutions. - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Technologies (e.g., Entra ID,
subscriptions, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, vNet, Application Gateway, API
Management Service), with familiarity in utilizing MS Secure Scores. - Proficient in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Business Continuity Planning
(BCP) concepts and solutions, such as ASR and Metallic CommVault. - Experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a solid
understanding of microservices, containers, and automation practices. - Competent in scripting with PowerShell.
- Well-versed in Microsoft 365 products (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint, Endpoint
Manager) and protection solutions like Defender for Endpoint and Cloud App.
Knowledge of Microsoft Multi-Tenant Organization features is an advantage. - Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
- At least 5 years in a senior role and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cloud/SaaS technologies as a systems engineer.
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written; proficiency in any additional European language is an asset.
- MS Certifications (e.g., AZ-103, AZ-203, AZ-300, AZ-301, AZ-400, AZ-500) and experience in Information Security management are considered valuable.
