Senior Project Manager – Luxembourg City
Our client is a well known professional corporate services firm operating its European operations from Luxembourg.
We’re looking for a new Project Manager for the Luxembourg office who will be in charge of leading and delivering complex projects from initiation to completion both locally and globally.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, goals, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and resource allocation;
- Monitor progress, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions;
- Ensure successful project completion within the established timeline, scope, and budget;
- Provide leadership, guidance, and task delegation to project team;
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment;
- Coordinate efforts between internal teams and external vendors to optimise project execution.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
- Communicate project updates, risks, and challenges to stakeholders
- Align stakeholder expectations with project deliverables and strategic goals.
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations;
- Implement best practices and industry methodologies in project management;
- Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle;
- Maintain a structured approach to risk management and compliance.
- Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage project budgets;
- Track and control expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints;
- Present financial performance updates to senior management.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate and present regular project status reports to leadership and stakeholders;
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-project assessments.
Your profile and experience:
- With at least 7 years of experience in project management, the ideal candidate has a strong track record managing large-scale and complex projects;
- A relevant Bachelors degree in Science, Arts, or a related field;
- Certification and ongoing education in at least one recognized project
management methodology (PMI, Prince2, Agile, etc.) and business analysis
accreditation. - Experience working within complex organizational structures;
- Prior exposure to the financial sector, with real estate experience being a significant advantage.

- Excellent writing and presentation skills;
- Creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making aptitude;

- Competence in leading and coordinating efforts across multiple teams.
