Lancelot is looking for a Business Application Specialist with regulatory, development and core banking knowledge for a client in the private banking sector.

The role:

Regulatory responsibilities

• Manage and implement regulatory projects.
• Design a plan for implementing new processes, reporting, and
  functionalities.
• Review and update procedures and checklists to ensure regulatory
  compliance.
• Ensure adherence to internal protocols, including those related to Change
  Management.
• Monitor the production environment to confirm the smooth operation of
  the deployed solution.

Business Application Support

• Provide support for core banking applications.
• Coordinate support activities with third-party providers within the scope
  of business applications.
• Serve as the primary contact for end-users regarding business
  applications, facilitating IT requests to the Head Office.
• Conduct queries and analysis on data extracted from core banking
  systems.
• Monitor performance and adjust parameters to ensure swift query
  responses for end-users.
• Act as a primary contact for internal and external IT and business
  requestors, providing assistance for application and database changes.
• Monitor business application processes, including checklists.
• Develop inquiries and interfaces for other applications as needed,
  creating corresponding procedures and workflows.

Local Applications

• Identify and analyse business needs, and draft specifications and
  procedures.
• Estimate workload and collaborate with project managers to plan tasks.
• Support or execute project management activities by applying project
  management methodologies.
• Assist in the development of local applications and scripts, or coordinate
  with group teams for the development of Luxembourg-specific
  functionalities.
• Coordinate change management processes and prepare deployment procedures for the IT department.
• Establish and coordinate the testing strategy.

Your profile and experience:

• Regulatory knowledge: MiFIR (MiFID II), EMIR, PSD2, CEDRS, PAD, SFTR…
• Programming skills: SQL, C# (.NET), VB Excel, Visual Studio
• Core banking systems: T24/Globus is appreciated
• SWIFT knowledge
• BPM: experience with BPM systems is highly desirable for this role
• Experience with EDMS is an advantage
